Day 1 - arrive Barbados Welcome to Barbados! Upon your arrival, settle into your accommodation and take some time to unwind. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings, perhaps with a stroll along the beach or a refreshing dip in the ocean. As the sun sets, consider having dinner at a local restaurant to savour your first taste of Bajan cuisine Days 2-6 - Barbados - Kensington ***FIRST TEST*** Each day, we’ll transfer to the historic Kensington Oval for the First Test match between Australia and the West Indies. This iconic venue, known as Sir Garfield Sobers' territory, offers a vibrant atmosphere steeped in cricketing history. Explore the ground, where legends like Worrell, Weekes, and Walcott have played, and enjoy the thrill of watching emerging stars shine.
While in Bridgetown, take advantage of your proximity to the city for some exploration. Visit landmarks such as the National Heroes Square and the Barbados Museum, or indulge in shopping at local markets. After the matches, soak in the lively celebrations that erupt in town, with music, dancing, and delicious street food.
For those looking for a break from cricket, consider renting a car to tour the island. Suggestions include visiting the stunning beaches of the west coast, exploring the rugged beauty of the east coast, or taking a day trip to the Harrison’s Cave. Alternatively, relax at the beach, snorkel in crystal-clear waters, or enjoy a catamaran cruise Day 7 - Barbados This is your free day to soak up the sun and enjoy the beautiful beaches that Barbados has to offer. Relax on the white sands of Crane Beach or enjoy water sports at Payne’s Bay. You may also want to visit the famous Oistins Fish Fry for a local culinary experience, or explore the lush botanical gardens in the area. Maybe a round of golf at the Green Monkey which is renowned for its breathtaking beauty Day 8 - Barbados to Grenada Today, a short flight will take you to Grenada which is renowned for its spices, and its beautiful beaches, such as Grand Anse. It also produces world class chocolate made from locally grown cocoa. It is famous for its rich natural beauty, including lush rainforests and waterfalls Day 9 - Grenada Take a day to settle into the pace and immerse yourself in Grenada. You can choose to explore Grand Anse Beach or visit the Spice Plantations. Perhaps enjoy a hike to Annandale Falls then discover the charming colonial architecture and vibrant markets of St. George's Days 10-14 - Grenada - National Cricket Stadium ***SECOND TEST*** Daily transfers will take you to the Grenada National Cricket Stadium, formerly known as Queen's Park for the Second Test. The excitement is palpable as you witness the game in a classic Caribbean picturesque setting. In 1887 Grenada created the first recorded team in the West Indies and played against the touring Gentlemen of America side at the original Queen's Park ground. The newly rebuilt Queen's Park Stadium became the 84th Test venue in 2002 when it hosted a Test against New Zealand. Australia has never played a Test here before and this match will be only the 5th Test ever at the ground. Grenada is a happy hunting ground for Darren Lehmann as he has made two ODI hundreds at the venue Day 15 - depart Grenada You are free to depart today. Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy some last-minute time in St Georges. Take a moment to reflect on your unforgettable Calypso Cricket experience through the cricketing heart of the Caribbean.

Local Payment
Your Local Payment is collected by your group leader in cash at your group meeting on Day 1 of the trip and is part of your tour price. The money is spent locally on your tour.

Pre and post trip accommodation is offered on most journeys pending availability. Please indicate in your enquiry if you require any rooms before or after your tour and the amount of nights requested.
For tours where the start and finish points are different w can assist you with your arrangements in both locations.
Single Traveller
Global Drift encourages interactive experiences for all of our travellers. As such we presume that you will be happy to share accommodation with a same sex person should you be travelling alone.
However, for those that would prefer a single room for the tour we do offer a single supplement. This also applies to single travellers who we are not able to match up.
It must be stated however that on many of our tours we stay in small family owned guesthouse accommodation. In certain instances with full groups the passenger combinations may not always allow you to enjoy a single room. Please keep this in mind when booking your single supplement. We will however, always do our best to accommodate you.
Please make your request for this service a minimum of 3 months prior to your journey.
The quoted extra payment is for the entire trip.
