Bangladesh Cricketing Sojourn

Bangladesh is the most recent addition to the Test playing nations of the cricketing world.  On learning of Bangladesh's promotion to Test status, thousands of people celebrated in the streets and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina remarked, "I can't express my joy in words at this happiest hour of the nation".  Cricket is a passion that is lived and breathed by its followers.  Despite limited success the team continues to improve and has become an opponent to be wary of, especially on their own soil

Our tour takes in 2 Test matches and also enjoys a taste of the unique culture that is on offer.  We enjoy time in the resort town of Cox’s Bazar with the 'longest beach in the world' as well as time to unlock the secrets of the bustling twin cities of Chittagong and Dhaka.  Very few make the journey to this remote and mysterious nation but those who do leave with a surprising insight into this land.  And as to how a game introduced by the British plays such an important part in the lives of so many
