South African Cricket Safari
South Africa emerged from the world's sporting wilderness to reassert itself as a cricketing powerhouse. Never far from the top of the rankings the Proteas always provide an intimidating challenge for visiting cricket nations. The cricket is tough and hard fought but the atmosphere and location are as welcoming as anywhere in the world.
Our itinerary provides excellent accommodation and smooth connections. We are serious about security and have experienced people on the ground to ensure we maximise our stay and keep safe. The 15 day tour will include the first two cricket Tests in the series at a couple of South Africa’s most visually stunning and atmospheric Test venues. We begin in Kingsmead (Durban), then will move on to St George’s Park, in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth). The 2 Tests will most certainly play a part in determining the outcome of the series. The Third Test at Newlands (Cape Town) will also be offered as an odd on package. Global Drift offers a tour schedule with inclusions such as all cricket tickets, private transport and sightseeing options in each location. There will be golf and other location specific activities available. OUR PRIORITY IS SECURITY, SAFETY AND COMFORT
*We are offering a 4 or 9 day POST TOUR add on package starting in Port Elizabeth, visiting Kariega game reserve and on to Cape Town for the 3rd Test. Information on this is detailed below.
"This was my initiation into small group organised travel and I absolutely enjoyed the whole thing. All planned objectives, as advertised, were achieved and much, much more. The fellow travellers were great company and plenty of fun. Overall it was an excellent experience and I am looking forward to going around again"
