Euro Football Extravaganza
There is no doubting the world game. Played by more, watched by most, Football or Soccer (to the less pure of heart) commands the attention of the entire planet. Supporters are more passionate, salaries are more ludicrous and the excitement of standing in the crowds as they chant and roar is not to be forgotten. Immerse yourself in some of the most vibrant and arguably best leagues in the world. We choose games from England's Premier League, Germany's Bundesliga, Scottish Premiership, Spain's La Liga, Italy's Serie A and Liga Portugal
This 16 day tour will take in a minimum of 6 games (aiming for 2 in each country) as well as exciting optional visits to some of football and sports most impressive and well known stadiums. We also include sightseeing in most of our locations where we will enjoy extensive walking tours of the historical and contemporary sites.
*Football matches on the tour will be decided pending the release of the schedules in the 2nd half of the year prior to the tour. We aim for fixtures in locations such as London, Liverpool, Manchester, Munich, Rome, Madrid, Barcelona and Lisbon. We will also be looking for clashes in regional areas if they present themselves. In addition to included games there will be options to enjoy up to 2-3 more games (as available) including some hospitality packages at the grounds. Transfer to a Scottish Premiership fixture (pending schedule) Day 2 - Sunday - Edinburgh/Glasgow Transfer to Scottish Premiership fixture (pending schedule) Day 3 - Monday - Edinburgh/Glasgow We take time to discover the spirit of Scotland visiting Scone Palace, majestic Edinburgh Castle, and other historic sites. We take in breathtaking scenery, rich culture, and the chance to play on world famous golf courses if the notorious Scottish weather permits Day 4 - Tuesday - Edinburgh/Glasgow Explore the heart of Scottish football with optional tours of Celtic Park and Ibrox Stadium, homes of the legendary Celtic FC and Rangers FC. Discover their rich histories, passionate rivalries, with behind the scenes access to dressing rooms, trophy displays, and pitch side views. An unmissable experience for any true football fan Day 5 - Wednesday - Edinburgh/Glasgow to North England We travel to north England today and are chasing EPL or FA Cup midweek fixtures should they present themselves. We may choose to base ourselves over the next couple of days in the central city of Liverpool surrounded by world renowned teams and institutions such as Manchester United and City, Everton and of course Liverpool at Anfield. Nearby are also smaller clubs such as Sheffield United that can provide a more local and authentic football experience Day 6 - Thursday - North England Depending on our base in the UK we will be enjoying some sightseeing, some relating to football stadiums and experiences with other options to enjoy locations with cultural and historical significance. Liverpool is home to the Beatles and there are a number of sites and experiences to avail ourselves of to learn more about their rise to global fame Day 7 - Friday - North England to London We transfer to London to base ourselves for a spectacular weekend of Premier League and Championship fixture options (pending schedule) Day 8 - Saturday - London Transfer to a Premier League or Championship fixture (pending schedule) Day 9 - Sunday - London Transfer to a Premier League or Championship fixture (pending schedule) Day 10 - Monday - London A possible Premier League or Championship fixture (pending schedule) or we head to other regions for other fixtures or sightseeing Day 11 - Tuesday - London/regional UK Once again we are on the lookout for midweek fixtures in the UK and also some sightseeing which may include some optional stadium tours or areas of cultural significance Day 12 - Wednesday - London/regional UK Depending on the schedule we may look for a midweek fixture in the UK or there may be some options on the continent en route to the Bundesliga games planned in Germany on the weekend Day 13 - Thursday - London/regional UK to Munich We journey to the beautiful German city of Munich either today or tomorrow which will be determined by midweek football options in both countries Day 14 - Friday - Munich We enjoy some time sightseeing in Munich, exploring iconic landmarks like Marienplatz, the Glockenspiel, and the BMW Museum. We will savour Bavarian cuisine at traditional beer halls, and perhaps a tour of the Allianz Arena. A perfect blend of history, culture, and modern German charm Day 15 - Saturday - Munich Transfer to Allianz Arena for the FC Bayern Munich Bundesliga fixture (pending schedule) Day 16 - Sunday - Munich to Dortmund Transfer to Signal Iduna Park for the Borussia Dortmund Bundesliga fixture (pending schedule). The tour ends this evening and you are free to depart at any time |

Local Payment
Your Local Payment is collected by your group leader in cash at your group meeting on Day 1 of the trip and is part of your tour price. The money is spent locally on your tour.

Single Traveller
Global Drift encourages interactive experiences for all of our travellers. As such we presume that you will be happy to share accommodation with a same sex person should you be travelling alone.
However, for those that would prefer a single room for the tour we do offer a single supplement. This also applies to single travellers who we are not able to match up.
It must be stated however that on many of our tours we stay in small family owned guesthouse accommodation. In certain instances with full groups the passenger combinations may not always allow you to enjoy a single room. Please keep this in mind when booking your single supplement. We will however, always do our best to accommodate you.
Please make your request for this service a minimum of 3 months prior to your journey.
The quoted extra payment is for the entire trip.

Airport Arrival Transfer
Global Drift offers an optional arrival transfer to your hotel at the quoted fee.
In your trip dossier you will receive directions on how to make your way to your starting point hotel. It is quite easy and possibly cheaper than we are able to offer it.
