Burma Family Adventure - Journey of Discovery
Burma is the ultimate family destination. Time to explore, time to share in a unique culture, time to relax in the hills and the plains of this wonderful destination. Amazing sights and the friendliest people on earth
One thing you will notice on arrival into this beautiful country is how much people treasure their children. Family is everything here; there are few orphanages or ‘retirement’ homes. This joy of family is continually extended to guests and you and your children will be made very welcome in countless homes and experiences. Ride the horsecarts in Bagan. Paddle the canoes in Inle Lake and experience an amazing overnight trek in the Shan plateau. Then enjoy your ‘family friendly’ days off by the pool if you need a break from the excitement and colour of Burma.
"My third trip with Global Drift to Burma; this trip lived up to all expectations. Conducted at a pace that allowed the kids to experience the culture and life of the Burmese, it included boat trips on Inle Lake, bicycles in Nyaungshwe and horse carts in Bagan. Overnight by boat on the famous 'Road to Mandalay' was special and a visit to Mingun where the friendly children mix freely with us was a highlight for the kids; as it was for adults"
